I edit, design and give away the tools I use.

I’m Hari Krishna. For nine years I’ve been cutting video, designing thumbnails and writing about the craft. Ri Imprint is where all of that stops being private  the presets, LUTs, templates and prompts from my own projects, published for anyone who’s trying to make better work faster.

What is Ri Imprint?

Ri Imprint started as a place to bring all of my creative work under one identity. I wanted a space where I could share my designs, videos, AI-powered workflows, and practical resources while helping creators and businesses turn ideas into visuals that leave a lasting impression. It’s more than a portfolio – it’s where creativity, learning, and real-world solutions come together.

On Ri Imprint, you’ll find a mix of free and premium resources. Creating high-quality templates, presets, prompts, and digital products takes time and effort, so some downloads are paid while many others are available for free. My goal is to make useful creative resources accessible while building a sustainable business that allows me to keep creating.

Beyond digital products, I also write articles based on my experience and interests. I share practical tips on video editing, graphic design, AI tools, creative workflows, productivity, and new technology. I also recommend movies I genuinely enjoy, publish AI prompts that I use in my own projects, and document what I learn along the way.

Ri Imprint is currently a combination of my portfolio, creative blog, resource library, and digital marketplace. Over time, I plan to expand it into a complete creative store where creators can discover, learn, and download everything they need in one place.

To support the website and continue offering free content, Ri Imprint also displays advertisements. Revenue from ads and premium products helps cover the costs of running the website and creating new tutorials, resources, and tools for the community.

Who Am I?

Hi, I’m Hari Krishna, a freelance video editor, graphic designer, and AI creator from Kerala, India. I love turning ideas into visuals through video editing, design, storytelling, and AI-powered creative workflows. Ri Imprint is where I share my work, what I learn, and the resources I create to help fellow creators grow.

Read more to discover my journey, the challenges I faced, and how Ri Imprint came to life.

Hi, I’m Hari Krishna, a creative professional from Kerala, India, born in 1992.

Ever since I was young, I’ve seen the world differently. Whenever I travel, see an interesting place, or even notice an ordinary object, my mind instantly starts imagining stories, scenes, and visuals. That curiosity is what first pulled me into the creative world.

After finishing school, I began learning video editing, graphic design, animation, VFX, and motion graphics. I loved creating things and spent years improving my skills through practice and real-world projects.

In 2016, I took a big step and started a small creative business with the support of my family and two close friends. I believed we could build something meaningful. To make it happen, I took out a bank loan and accepted the responsibility of running the business. My dream was to create videos, advertisements, and creative content for businesses and brands.

Reality, however, was much harder than I expected.

The projects didn’t come in as I had hoped, so we started taking on wedding photography, video editing, album design, and event work to keep the business running. Although that wasn’t the original vision, we did whatever we could to move forward.

Then everything changed.

I met with a serious accident that kept me in bed for nearly a year. After surgery on my foot, recovery was slow and painful. During that time, the business struggled, debts increased, and financial pressure kept growing. Eventually, I had no choice but to close the company. It was one of the most difficult periods of my life.

Many people said I had failed.

But my family told me something I’ll never forget: “Closing a business doesn’t mean you’ve failed. As long as you don’t give up, you haven’t lost.”

Those words stayed with me.

Soon after, the pandemic arrived, and like everyone else, I found myself at home with time to think. I realized something important: I had lost a business, but I hadn’t lost my skills.

So I started again.

I returned to video editing, graphic design, and freelancing. I learned blogging, built websites, created digital content, and slowly rebuilt my career. Step by step, I paid off my debts and started moving forward again.

Then AI entered my creative journey.

Instead of seeing AI as something to fear, I chose to learn it. I spent countless hours understanding AI tools, prompt writing, creative workflows, and how technology could improve my work without replacing creativity. AI became another tool that helped me work faster, explore new ideas, and continue learning every day.

That’s how Ri Imprint was born.

I created Ri Imprint with a simple goal: to bring creativity, technology, and storytelling together in one place. It serves as my portfolio, my blog, and a growing library of resources for creators. Here you’ll find tutorials, articles, AI prompts, templates, presets, creative tools, movie recommendations, and everything I learn along the way.

Some resources are free, while others are premium. Creating quality digital products takes time, research, and continuous improvement. Selling premium resources helps me continue building Ri Imprint, while free content ensures that anyone can learn and grow, even if they can’t afford to spend money.

Today, Ri Imprint is more than just a website.

It’s a reflection of my journey, my failures, my lessons, and my belief that creativity never stops evolving. If something I create helps another designer, editor, student, or creator move one step forward, then Ri Imprint has fulfilled its purpose.

What You'll Find on Ri Imprint

Ri Imprint is my creative space where I showcase my portfolio, share what I learn, and create resources for creators. Here you’ll find video editing tutorials, graphic design insights, AI prompts, creative workflows, digital products, movie recommendations, and practical articles based on my real experience.

Why did I build it?

I built Ri Imprint to bring all of my creative work together under one brand. My goal is to help creators learn new skills, discover useful resources, and find inspiration while building a sustainable platform where I can continue creating and sharing valuable content.

Do I have to pay or sign up?

No. Most of the articles and many resources are completely free to access. Some premium templates, presets, AI prompts, and digital products are paid because they take significant time and effort to create. You can explore the website without creating an account, although some downloads or purchases may require one in the future.

Can we work together?

Yes! If you’re looking for video editing, graphic design, AI-assisted creative solutions, or custom digital projects, I’d love to hear about your ideas. Whether you’re a creator, business, or brand, feel free to get in touch through the Contact page and let’s create something meaningful together.

What I actually do

Five disciplines that feed each other. Client work sharpens the tools; the tools end up free on this site.

01

Video editing & post

Long-form, Shorts, Reels and branded cuts — pacing, sound design, motion and finishing that keeps people watching past the first three seconds.

02

Colour & LUTs

Grades built on real footage, not test charts. The same LUTs and looks I use on client work end up in the free library.
03

Graphic & thumbnail design

Thumbnails, posters, social kits and templates designed to read at postage-stamp size and still feel deliberate.

04

AI tools & prompt workflows

Prompt libraries and small automations that remove the boring half of production without flattening your voice.

05

Writing, blogging & SEO

Tutorials and breakdowns written so a beginner can follow them and a working editor still learns something.

2016

Started out

Joined hands with friends and started a creative business on nothing but nerve
2018

It broke

An accident, business loss and financial pressure ended it. A long recovery followed.
2020

Rebuilt alone

Back to zero. Freelance editing, blogging and SEO — relearning everything by doing it.
2024

Ri Imprint

Turned nine years of files, presets and hard-won shortcuts into a public library.

Rather see the work than read about it?

Edits, grades, thumbnails and client projects — the full portfolio.
