“I don’t just edit footage — I see the story before the camera even rolls.”

My name is Harikrishna. I’m from Kerala, India, born in 1992. I’ve always been the kind of person who, when travelling or simply looking at something ordinary, immediately starts building a story in my head — the angles, the cuts, the feeling.

After completing school in 2008 and HSS in 2010, I studied at a professional institute and taught myself video editing, graphic design, animation and VFX through years of real-world practice. In 2016, I started a business with two close friends — we took a bank loan, I took full responsibility. My family and friends helped us begin. The vision was big. But reality had other plans.

To keep the business alive, we moved into wedding shoots, album making and event coverage — not my original intention, but it kept us going for three years. Then in 2019, everything changed. A serious accident. Surgery on my foot. Nearly a year in bed. The business collapsed under financial pressure — blocked loans, lost projects, mounting debt. I made the decision to close it.

“People said I had failed. People said I didn’t have the guts. But there were voices that said don’t quit. And my family said just one thing: it’s your choice. Do what you want. But don’t give up. Close the company if you must — but don’t fail as a person.”

Then 2020 arrived and the whole world sat at home. In that stillness I made a decision: I have skills no one can take from me. I started designing again, editing again, freelancing again. I learned blogging, built multiple websites and slowly cleared every debt.

Then AI entered my life — not as a threat, but as a tool. I learned how it actually works: effective prompts, AI-powered tools, how to multiply creative output without losing the human soul of the work.

Ri Imprint was born from that entire journey — a creative hub where I share presets, prompts, templates and tools. Mostly free, because I know exactly what it feels like to want to create but not have money to spend. Some things are paid, because I also need to live. But the heart of it is: creative people deserve good tools, regardless of budget.
